Is it time for true crime buffs to get a life? A second life, that is? More importantly, what exactly is a second life?

In a nutshell, second life (SL) is the adult version of myspace. Instead of "pimping" your 2d myspace page however you get to "pimp" your avatar (AV), land or both. You can add friends, mute them (put them on ignore), allow them to see your online status (or not), share content, create groups, and chat privately and/or publicly.

Instead of spending the weekend in my usual code warrior mode, I spent it discussing various obscurities with visitors. Among these was the subject of time. I had made an offhanded comment that time does not move, in fact, does not exist, to which my visitors proclaimed, "But of course it does!"
